Mitsubishi Outlander petrol updates announced

Date: 28 October 2019   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Mitsubishi has made changes to the petrol version of its Outlander SUV.

Among the updates is a reduction in the model's official CO2 emissions figure to 169g/km - although this still places it in the top 37% BIK band for company car drivers.

The Outlander petrol has also gained equipment including a new 8in infotainment screen with Bluetooth, DAB, Apple Carplay and Android Auto compatibility and a rear-view camera, as well as TomTom sat-nav on top-spec cars.

There's also a redesigned climate control panel, new powered lumbar support for the driver's seat, and additional padding for the rear seats.

Red Diamond paint is also newly available.

A revised range structure has also been announced, featuring two equipment grades - Design and Exceed.

Design, priced from £28,085, features equipment including 18in alloy wheels, heated front seats, keyless operation, an electronic parking brake, electric folding heated door mirrors, front fog lights, automatic lights and wipers, cruise control, dual-zone climate control and privacy glass.

Additional kit with Exceed cars, priced from £30,385, includes leather upholstery, a 360-degree camera system, LED headlights and fog lights, a heated steering wheel, a powered tailgate, blind spot warning with rear cross traffic alert and twin rear USB ports.

The updated Outlander petrol is on sale now.
