Ford S-Max and Galaxy updates announced

Date: 08 October 2019   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Ford has revealed revised versions of its S-Max and Galaxy people carriers.

Both models have received upper front fascia updates, with chrome on the upper grille and foglamp surrounds, and different looks for the S-Max ST-Line and Vignale equipment grades.

Both the S-Max and Galaxy are now available with FordPass Connect on-board modem technology, which allows mobile WiFi connectivity for up to ten devices, and can also receive information about hazards in the road ahead before they can be seen by the driver or the vehicle's sensors, taking information from local authorities, emergency services, and cloud data from other vehicles.

It also enables functions via the FordPass mobile app, allowing the driver to check the vehicle's location, fuel level, alarm status and oil life, and to remotely lock and unlock the doors.

Pre-collision assist has also been made standard across both ranges, while 18-way adjustable driver and front passenger seats are also available.

New 19in Premium Luster Nickel alloy wheels are also available as an option.

The updated models are available to order now, with prices starting at £30,490 for the S-Max and £33,210 for the Galaxy.
