MG has appointed Geraint Isaac to the newly-created role of national fleet sales manager.
The role will see Isaac working with the MG dealer network and major fleet operators, as well as taking responsibility for vehicle remarketing, residual values and co-ordinating MG's dealer fleet programmes.
He has more than 25 years of experience in the automotive and automotive finance sectors, and joins MG from Hyundai, where he previously worked as fleet operations manager, before becoming national residual value and remarketing manager.
He also previously worked for Vauxhall, managed B2B sales and fleet aftersales development.
Isaac said: "As the UK's fastest growing car manufacturer, MG has a great opportunity to reach the business and fleet markets with its exciting range of efficient, spacious and well-equipped vehicles.
"I am keen to build organic, sustainable growth in our fleet sales, capitalising on the enormous interest we have had in both the all-electric ZS EV and the upcoming all-new MG HS C-segment SUV.
"The MG brand has great historical significance and it's a privilege to join the company at such a key time in its development. I look forward to working with our fantastic dealerships across the country and building relationships with staff and customers alike to support our growth in the fleet environment."
MG UK head of sales and marketing Daniel Gregorious said: "Developing our fleet and business sales is a key objective for MG, as part of our Momentum and Growth mid-term plan.
"We're delighted to welcome Geraint to our team to take the lead on working to achieve this."
