New engine added to Citroën Spacetourer range

Date: 20 September 2019   |   Author: Sean Keywood

The Citroën Spacetourer MPV is being made available with a new engine.

The new 2.0-litre, 120hp diesel engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

Citroën says that compared with the existing 1.5-litre 120hp diesel manual powertrain, the new set-up offers a significant increase in braked towing weight, up to 2.3 tonnes.

The new engine is available with the Feel and Business equipment grades, priced at £36,620 and £36,250 respectively.

It is available to order now, with the first deliveries expected in late October.

Other engine options are a 2.0-litre, 150hp diesel, which comes with a six-speed manual gearbox, and a 2.0-litre, 180hp diesel, which comes with the eight-speed auto.

Two bodystyles are available, Medium and XL, with the latter adding 35cm in length, although it is not available with the new engine.

As well as the lower-spec Feel and Business equipment grades, higher-end Flair and Business Lounge grades are also offered.
