Date: 16 September 2019   |   Author: Sean Keywood

A revised version of Renault's Koleos large SUV is available to order now.

Styling tweaks with the facelifted model include a more prominent front grille with chrome detailing, new front and rear bumper designs, bigger front and rear skid plates, standard LED headlights and a larger high-level brake light.

Inside there are new soft touch materials, revised satin trim inserts, and new two-stage reclining back seats.

Two new engines are available: a 1.7-litre diesel with 150hp and front-wheel drive, and a 2.0-litre diesel with 190hp and four-wheel drive.

Both come with CVT automatic transmission as standard.

Official combined fuel economy figures are 45.5mpg-46.3mpg for the 150hp engine and 40.3mpg-40.9mpg for the 190hp engine, while CO2 emissions figures are 143g/km and 150g/km respectively.

The standard autonomous emergency braking system now comes with pedestrian detection, while blind spot warning, lane departure warning, and over speed prevention with traffic sign recognition are also standard.

Two equipment grades are available - Iconic and GT Line.

Standard equipment with Iconic includes a 7in screen in sat-nav and smartphone replication, front and rear parking sensors with a reversing camera, a hands-free keycard, automatic dual zone climate control, cruise control and speed limiter, automatic lights and wipers, heated and cooled cup holders and auto-dimming rear-view mirror.

Further equipment with GT Line includes a larger, 8.7in screen, a powered tailgate, leather upholstery, and heated, electrically adjustable front seats.

Prices start at £28,195 for a 150hp Iconic, and rise through £30,195 for a 150hp GT Line, £31,195 for a 190hp Iconic, and £33,195 for a 190hp GT Line.

The first deliveries are expected in November.
