The start point for the best source of fleet information

Seat revamps fleet customer website

Date: 28 April 2020   |   Author: Simon Harris

Seat has revamped its fleet website to improve its offering for UK fleet managers and company car drivers after seeing 39% growth in web traffic in 2019.

The new fleet section of the Seat website is designed to simplify the decision-making process, providing users with vital information - including explainer videos and useful tools - about key fleet topics, the model range and Seat Fleet initiatives.

As well as details specific to fleet managers and their drivers, the new 'Knowledge Zone' gives insights into subjects including P11D value, total cost of ownership (TCO), CO2, grey fleet, benefit in kind tax and electric vehicles.

The site's new tools including TCO and company car tax calculators, offer accurate, real-world ownership and tax costs for any vehicle.

The new EV section aims to help businesses assess whether electric cars are right for their fleet, and arrives in time for Seat's forthcoming electric and plug-in hybrid models.

Seat head of fleet Craig Cavanagh said: "Locating honest and accessible information is not always easy when it comes to fleet purchases. Whether you're an experienced fleet manager evaluating which manufacturers to include on your fleet policy or a company car driver looking for the right vehicle and wanting to understand how much it'll cost, we provide all the essentials and then some in a simple format.

"As well as covering many of the fundamentals of fleet and offering useful calculators, we also provide detail across key topics that'll impact buying decisions - this should help simplify the process whatever the user's knowledge base."
