Specs and prices announced for revised Suzuki Ignis

Date: 11 August 2020   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Suzuki has confirmed specs and prices for the facelifted version of its Ignis crossover.

The revised model goes on sale this month, featuring new-look front and rear bumpers and a revised front grille, while inside there's a redesigned instrument cluster.

Mild hybrid power is also now standard, with a 1.2-litre 83hp petrol engine paired with a 12V system that assists the engine during acceleration and allows regenerative braking, meaning WLTP combined fuel economy of up to 55.7mpg and CO2 emissions from 114g/km, depending on spec.

Three equipment grades are available - SZ3, SZ-T and SZ5.

Standard equipment with entry-level SZ3 includes six airbags, air conditioning, DAB radio with Buetooth, LED headlights and rear privacy glass.

Further equipment with SZ-T includes a rear-view camera, 16in alloy wheels, roof rails, wheel arch extensions, individually sliding rear seats, and Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity.

The range-topping SZ5 grade also features automatic air conditioning, sat-nav, dual camera brake support, lane departure warning, weaving alert, keyless entry and start, rear electric windows and front fog lights.

CVT automatic transmission is available as an option with the SZ-T and SZ5 grades, while Allgrip four-wheel drive is optional with manual SZ5 cars.

Prices for the facelifted Ignis start from £13,999.
