Facelifted Audi Q2 revealed

Date: 01 September 2020   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Audi has revealed a revised version of its smallest SUV, the Q2.

Exterior design changes include a new rear bumper with integrated diffuser insert, a lower front grille and new alloy wheel designs, while the interior features redesigned air vents and new door fabrics.

LED headlights are standard across the range, while range-topping Vorsprung cars get Matrix LEDs and dynamic rear indicators.

Five equipment grades will be available - Technik, Sport, S Line, Black Edition and Vorsprung.

Standard equipment across the range includes a powered tailgate, smartphone connectivity, rear parking sensors and cruise control.

Sport, S Line and Black Edition Q2s now come with Audi's 12.3in Virtual Cockpit display, plus an 8.3in sat-nav touchscreen which also features rotary and voice control.

The system also includes online services via Audi Connect, including Google Earth maps and fuel pricing information, and also remote functions such as locking the doors and checking the fuel level via the MyAudi app.

Additional equipment with Vorsprung includes dual-zone climate control, a Bang & Olufsen audio system, a panoramic sunroof, adaptive sport suspension, a rear-view camera, and newly-fitted adaptive cruise control.

A single engine option will be available at launch, a 150hp 1.5-litre petrol, but Audi says two more petrol engines will join the range at a later date, as will two diesels.

Orders for the new Q2 will open in October. Prices are yet to be confirmed, but will start at around £23,500.
