Geneva Motor Show cancelled amid coronavirus outbreak

Date: 28 February 2020   |   Author: Illya Verpraet

The organisers of the Geneva Motor Show, which was planned to take place next week, have announced that it has been cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The Swiss government has decided to ban any events of more than 1,000 people to help contain the spread of the infection.

The Geneva Motor Show is one of the most important motor shows of the year, with the most news and car unveilings. It's likely that car manufacturers' announcement schedules will still be presenting new models in the coming week, just not at the physical motor show.
