Brake and Alphabet to hold seminar on dealing with crashes

Date: 27 January 2020

Road safety charity Brake is partnering with Alphabet to hold a seminar for fleet managers and HR professionals on how to deal with the aftermath of a crash.

The seminar on crisis management will be held on 3 March in Farnborough and is free to attend. It will focus on managing the costs of a crisis, and the policies and procedures an organisation should have in place to provide appropriate support following a road crash.

This includes the practicalities and procedures, the possible commercial and legal implications, the welfare of all those involved, the communication, how to create a response team, and more.

David Jones, communications manager at Alphabet GB said: "However well-informed you might be, it's a rapidly changing area - so it's vitally important to stay up to date.

"By raising awareness of organisational responsibilities for those managing fleets and 'at work drivers', as well as sharing practical examples and expert insight, we're helping individuals and businesses better understand their duty of care obligations."

Further details and instructions to sign up can be found on Brake's Global Fleet Champions website.
