New equipment grade for Volkswagen Polo, T-Cross and T-Roc

Date: 24 July 2020   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Volkswagen has announced a new spec option for its Polo supermini and T-Cross and T-Roc SUVs.

The new United equipment grade is based on the existing Match grade Polo and SE grade T-Cross and T-Roc, but with extra equipment.

Across all the models, this includes a voice control function, heated front seats, a low washer fluid warning light, brushed stainless steel pedals, and front and rear carpet mats.

In addition, the Polo United gets 8in touchscreen sat-nav, an auto-dimming rear view mirror, automatic headlights and automatic wipers.

The T-Cross and T-Roc get heated windscreen washer jets and rear tinted glass, and the T-Cross also gains front and rear parking sensors, while the T-Roc gets puddle lights displaying United branding on the floor when the door is open.

Each United model comes with a choice of two petrol engines: the Polo with either 80hp or 95hp, the T-Cross with either 95hp or 115hp, and the T-Roc with either 115hp or 150hp.

Prices start at £17,350 for the Polo United, £20,410 for the T-Cross United, and £23,550 for the T-Roc United.

VW claims the extra equipment makes this a saving of up to £1,760 compared with the regular grades, depending on model and engine.
