Renault has confirmed full details of the facelifted version of its Megane lower-medium car.
As previously announced, the updated model is being made available for the first time as a plug-in hybrid, although only with the Sport Tourer estate bodystyle (pictured).
Styling changes with the facelift include new bumpers and LED lights and a new front grille.
Two equipment grades are available - Iconic and R.S. Line.
Standard kit with Iconic includes front and rear parking sensors, a reversing camera, automatic headlights and wipers, cruise control with speed limiter, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, automatic high-low beam, 16in alloy wheels, electric heated an folding door mirrors, a 7in TFT driver information display, a frameless rear-view mirror with auto-dimming function, hands-free keycard entry, dual-zone climate control, and a 7in touchscreen with DAB, sat-nav, and Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity.
Range-topping R.S. Line spec ups the driver display to 10in and the infotainment touchscreen to 9.3in, and also adds 17in alloys, along with a sportier look for the bumpers, upholstery, dashboard trim and steering wheel.
Along with the plug-in hybrid, which combines a 1.6-litre petrol engine with an electric motor for a total of 160hp, other engine options are a 140hp petrol engine and a 115hp diesel.
Range prices start at £20,740 for an Iconic petrol hatch, and rise as high as £32,685 for an R.S Line PHEV Sport Tourer.
Orders will open next month.
