Mercedes-Benz has confirmed full UK sale details of the new EQV, the second car launched as part of its EQ all-electric brand.

An MPV with seating for up to seven people, it is powered by a 204hp motor, and comes with a 90kWh battery, allowing a driving range of up to 213 miles.

The battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in 45 minutes using a rapid DC charger.

The EQV is available in three equipment grades - Sport, Sport Premium, and Sport Premium Plus.

Standard across the range is the MBUX infotainment system with EQ-specific features, including information on charging and energy flow, and access to Mercedes me Charge, which provides access to charging points across Europe, including the Polar network in the UK< without the need for multiple accounts.

Other standard equipment with the Sport grade includes 17in alloy wheels, LEB multibeam headlights, a driving assistance package, sat-nav, a reversing camera, and electric sliding doors.

Extra equipment with Sport Premium includes a 360-degree camera, a memory package, an EQV exterior design package, a table package, and smartphone integration.

Further kit with the range-topping Sport Premium Plus grade includes a Burmester surround sound system, air suspension and 18in wheels.

The EQV is available to order now. Prices start at £70,665 for the Sport, and rise to £72,895 for the Sport Premium and £77,145 for the Sport Premium Plus.
