Citroën prices facelifted C3 from £16,280

Date: 02 June 2020   |   Author: Illya Verpraet

The facelifted Citroën C3 supermini goes on sale from this week, costing from £16,280 (on the road) for the 83hp petrol model with the Feel equipment grade.

As before, there are three engines available, the base 83hp three-cylinder petrol, a more powerful version with 110hp, and a 100hp four-cylinder RDE2-compliant diesel. All come with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, and the 110hp petrol can optionally be fitted with a six-speed automatic.

Citroën offers three equipment grades, though the entry-level Feel grade can only be combined with the 83hp engine. It features a 7in touch screen with smartphone mirroring, automatic air conditioning, cruise control and speed sign recognition.

The mid-range Flair grade starts from £17,330 and adds 16in alloy wheels, more colour options, automatic headlights and rear parking sensors.

Flair Plus starts from £18,730 and is still available across the engine range. It features 17in wheels, built-in navigation, advanced comfort seats, automatic emergency braking, upgraded headlights and a reversing camera.

The changes for the facelift consist of some visual tweaks and standard LED headlights across the range. Inside, the biggest change is the option of 'advanced comfort' seats, which are more thickly padded and should be more ergonomic. The driver also gets a new arm rest. To complete the luxury feel, the C3 can now be optioned with 'Techwood ambience', which adds light-coloured upholstery and wood trim.

Citroën expects to make the first deliveries of the facelifted C3 in August.
