We will be heralding our 2020 Business Car Award winners in a new virtual event, after deciding to eliminate the uncertainty of planning a physical ceremony and dinner as we exit the Covid-19 crisis.
Our new digital platform will allow attendees to view the big announcements, interact with sponsors via virtual booths, and network with each other throughout the event.
The Business Car Awards will take place on 22 October, and although we were planning another black tie gala dinner ahead of the coronavirus outbreak, we have now committed to a fully digital event.
This means the event will take place during the working day, allowing guests to log in and meet other attendees in our networking area, with the awards announcements made in three video presentations throughout the ceremony.
During the event, guests are encouraged to find out more about the shortlisted candidates in each section, as well as visit the sponsors' booths to interact with representatives and learn about their products.
Following a welcome video and brief networking opportunity, the first presentation will begin for the manufacturer awards.
The presentations will pause for another opportunity for guests to network or visit the sponsors' booths before the video reveal of the supplier award-winners will begin.
There will be another break in the programme, giving guests further time to engage with each other and the sponsors, before the announcement of the headline awards, including the best fleets, as well as the new company car of the year.

The deadline for entries has been extended to 31 July, to offer some extra time with businesses trying to manage the Covid-19 crisis, and judging, by a panel of experts drawn from the industry, will take place during August.
