Facelifted MG ZS revealed

Date: 03 July 2020   |   Author: Sean Keywood

MG has launched an updated version of its ZS SUV.

Exterior design changes with the new-look model include a redesigned front grille, an aluminium-effect lower grille, full LED headlights, new alloy wheel designs and a new rear lower bumper with aluminium effect, while the interior features a redesigned dashboard and new trim.

The interior also gets a new 10.1in touchscreen, with DAB radio, Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity and new 'piano key' control buttons, and a front armrest has also been added.

Two equipment grades are available, Excite and Exclusive, and the latter gets equipment including sat-nav, a 360-degree reversing camera, a full digital driver's display, heated front seats, an electrically adjustable driver's seat, and blind spot monitoring.

Both grades now come with power folding mirrors.

There's only one engine option - a 106hp, 1.5-litre petrol, which drives the front wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox.

On the official WLTP cycle, combined fuel economy is 41.4mpg, and CO2 emissions are 155g/km.

The ZS also comes with three different power steering modes - urban, normal and dynamic.

The facelifted ZS is on sale now, with Excite models priced at £15,495, and Exclusive costing £17,795.
