Prices announced for VW Golf with mild hybrid and R-Line

Now, it becomes available with R-Line, which adds aggressive bumpers, 17in wheels, sports suspension, privacy glass, sports seats, LED lights and the 10in infotainment screen. R-Line starts at £26,140 for a 130hp 1.5TSI with a manual gearbox, £670 more than a similarly-equipped 'Style'.

All equipment grades can be combined with a mild hybrid powertrain. The 150hp 1.5TSI petrol engine optionally gets the assistance of a small battery and an integrated starter/generator unit for better fuel economy and performance. It is always coupled to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and starts from £26,375 with the 'Life' equipment grade.

That's £1900 more than the normal 150hp TSI, although that's not yet available with an automatic, so not directly comparable.
