VW launches Black Edition equipment grade for T-Roc

Date: 22 May 2020   |   Author: Illya Verpraet

The T-Roc, VW's compact, Golf-sized SUV, is now available with a new Black Edition equipment grade, which adds more equipment, as well as unique detailing to the SE grade.

As a Black Edition, the T-Roc is only available with front wheel drive, but can be specced with most of the engines, including the 1.0 and 1.5-litre petrols, as well as the 1.6 and 2.0-litre diesels. The most powerful 2.0-litre petrol is not available on the Black edition.

Prices start at £23,750 (on the road) for the 1.0-litre, 115hp petrol. The Black edition builds on the SE grade, adding black exterior detailing, 18in black wheels, LED headlights, black interior trim, a leather gear knob and multifunction steering wheel and contrasting stitching.

SE grade includes adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, electric electrically heated and foldable door mirrors and Apple Carplay and Android Auto.

Despite being called the Black Edition, it can be ordered in other colours, including yellow, blue, orange and red.
