HMRC publishes new advisory fuel rates

Date: 28 May 2020   |   Author: Illya Verpraet

HMRC is reducing the advisory fuel rates for company car drivers from 1 June.

The old rates can still be used until 30 June 2020, one month after the new rates take effect.

Most rates go down by around 2ppm, with hybrids still treated as petrol or diesel cars. The advisory electricity rate for fully electric cars is set at 4ppm.
