Association of Fleet Professionals launches online membership applications

Date: 06 May 2020   |   Author: Illya Verpraet

Fleet decision makers interested in joining the Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP) can now apply for membership online.

The AFP, which was formed following the merger of Acfo and ICFM, has launched its new website, which now allows prospective members to apply online.

Paul Hollick, AFP co-chair, said: "This makes joining the AFP a very easy process for any fleet decision makers or corporate members that can be completed in a matter of minutes. At a point in time such as now, when fleet expertise is vital for organisations who want to contain costs and improve efficiency, the support that we can provide is excellent value for money, we believe."

AFP membership will cost £299 for fleet decision-makers. Corporate membership is available at three levels: silver costs £500 and provides two employee memberships; gold is priced at £1,000 with four employee memberships; and platinum costs £2,000 for eight employee memberships.

Each membership level adds further benefits such as discounts on employee training, the ability to provide company information on the AFP website, and opportunities for corporate promotions during AFP webinars and other events.

Hollick added: "The reception to the creation of the AFP has been very positive across the industry. Existing corporate members of both ACFO and the ICFM are gradually being moved over to the AFP at the moment and we are pleased to say that there has also been substantial interest from new potential members, hence the launch of the online application option through our new web site, which has been launched this week."

"We've spent quite a lot of time ensuring that the web site is very much up to the standards that would be expected of a professional membership body in 2020 and will be adding further options, including new developments for online training that very much fit in with the coronavirus lockdown."
