Revised Honda CR-V goes hybrid-only

Date: 30 November 2020   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Honda has revealed a revised version of its CR-V SUV.

The model is now solely available as a hybrid, with previous petrol engine options having been dropped.

Official WLTP combined fuel economy and CO2 emissions are 42.2mpg and 151g/km with front-wheel drive versions, and 39.2mpg and 161g/km with all-wheel drive.

Cosmetic changes to the CR-V include new blue-ringed H badges and e:HEV nomenclature to highlight its electrified powertrain, while the interior sees a new silver finish applied to parts of the centre console, door cards and dashboard accents.

Other updates include a new 18in alloy wheel design for all equipment grades, and privacy glass from SE grade upwards.

Tweaks have also been made to the suspension, which Honda says has been retuned to provide more linear handling responses and an improved ride, and the steering, which has been adjusted with the aim of improving low-speed manoeuvrability.

The revised CR-V will be in dealerships from the start of December. Prices start from £30,180.
