Hyundai has revealed UK specs and prices for its new i20 supermini.

The range currently consists of three equipment grades - SE Connect, Premium and Ultimate. A further, sporty N Line grade, as well as the N hot hatch, are then due to follow in 2021.

Standard equipment with SE Connect includes 16in alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, an 8in touchscreen with Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, a 10.25in instrument cluster display, air conditioning, cruise control with speed limiter, rear parking sensors, a reversing camera, and electrically adjustable heated door mirrors.

Also standard is Hyundai's Smart Sense safety package, which includes autonomous emergency braking, driver attention alert, intelligent speed limit warning, high beam assist, lane keep assist and tyre pressure monitoring.

Further equipment with the Premium grade includes 17in alloys, LED headlights and tail lights, front fog lights, automatic wipers, climate control, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, lane follow assist, and a five-year subscription to Bluelink telematics. The size of the infotainment touchscreen is also increased to 10.25in.

As for the top-spec Ultimate grade, that gains a two-tone roof, grey interior trim, keyless entry and start, wireless charging, a Bose premium sound system, blind-sport collision alert, and forward collision assist with cyclist detection.

Only one engine is currently available - a 1.0-litre, 100hp petrol mild hybrid, which comes with either six-speed automated manual or seven-speed automatic transmission.

CO2 emissions on the WLTP cycle are between 115g/km and 121g/km, while combined fuel economy is between 55.4mpg and 53.3mpg, depending on spec.

Prices for the new i20 with manual transmission are £18,595 for SE Connect, £20,795 for Premium and £22,095 for Ultimate - autos are an extra £1,250.
