The start point for the best source of fleet information

Finalists unveiled for the 2020 Business Car Awards

Date: 24 September 2020

After two marathon judging sessions we reveal the contenders for October's trophies.

Hours of deliberation by our panel of experts is over as we announce the shortlisted companies and vehicles in the 2020 Business Car Awards, with a wait of just over a month before our winners are announced at our new, interactive virtual awards event on Thursday 22 October.

Judges pondered over submissions from fleet suppliers, fleet managers and car manufacturers, weighing up evidence against claims and selecting those that should make the shortlists.

Now, a handful of candidates in each category will be carried forward to the Business Car Awards event, where the winners will be revealed, including the new Company Car of the Year.

Registrations for the event are now open, at 2020businesscarawards.vfairs.com, and guests will be given a login to visit the 2020 Business Car Awards as they happen.

The event, sponsored by VisionTrack, the AA and Europcar Mobility Group, will also offer networking opportunities, with breaks between the awards for attendees to catch up or comment on topics on the noticeboard.

Guests will also be able to visit the sponsors' booths, gather information on their products and services, and talk to representatives.

Business Car took the decision in April to move from a physical awards event to a virtual event, as the restrictions associated with the coronavirus pandemic appeared to be with us for some time.

Physical events might never be as they were before the pandemic struck, and we took the opportunity to embrace innovative new technology available to us to produce an entirely digital event, enabling people to attend from their office or home.

If you can't join us live, please register anyway, as the event will remain on the site for a month after the broadcast date, with the awards announcements viewable on demand, and the networking areas still live.
