Seat has revealed updated versions of its Ibiza supermini and Arona small SUV.

Both models will now come with LED lights throughout the range and new alloy wheel designs, while the Arona also gets new grille designs, repositioned foglamps, and a new rear spoiler and diffuser.

Inside, both models gain a new 'floating' infotainment display, measuring 8.25in with entry-level spec, and 9.2in with higher-grade cars, with which a high-definition 10.25in Digital Cockpit display will also be available. Both models also gain a new multifunction leather steering wheel, and feature redesigned interior air vents with illuminated surrounds.

Both the Ibiza and Arona will now come with wireless smartphone connectivity, including Apple Carplay and Android Auto, and access to Seat Connect remote services.

Newly available driver assistance systems include travel assist, pairing adaptive cruise control with lane assist, and side assist, which monitors blind spots during lane change manoeuvres. The Arona will also be available with an automatic park assist system.

The facelifted Ibiza will be available with a choice of 80hp, 95hp, and 110hp petrol engines, while the Arona will come with a choice of 95hp, 110hp, and 150hp petrols.

The updated models will go into production during the third quarter of 2021. Prices are yet to be announced.
