Facelifted Skoda Kodiaq revealed

Date: 13 April 2021   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Skoda has unveiled an updated version of the Kodiaq, its largest SUV.

Exterior design changes include a restyled front end, with an elevated bonnet and more upright grille, while S, SE, and SE L equipment grades also gain aluminium-effect detail on the front and rear apron.

There are also redesigned front and rear bumpers, and a new gloss black rear spoiler, along with finlets on the side of the rear window.

LED headlights are standard, and for the first time with the Kodiaq matrix LEDs are also available, while new alloy wheel designs measure up to 20in.

Inside, ergonomic, perforated-leather seats are now available as optional equipment, as are a ten-speaker Canton sound system, and the 10.25in Virtual Cockpit display (the latter standard with the vRS performance model).

Available safety systems now include an enhanced version of crew protect assist, with additional rear sensors to pick up vehicles that pose a collision risk.

Engine options with the regular range are 150hp and 190hp petrols, and 150hp and 200hp diesels - a new 245hp petrol is fitted to the vRS.

The updated Kodiaq will be available from July. Prices are yet to be announced.
