Nissan has confirmed UK prices for the new, third-generation version of its Qashqai SUV.

The range consists of five regular equipment grades - Visia, Acenta Premium, N-Connecta, Tekna, and Tekna+ - plus the introductory Premiere Edition, a limited number of which are still available to order.

The new Qashqai is launching with a choice of two petrol mild hybrid engines, with either 140hp or 158hp - the innovative E-Power hybrid variant is due to arrive next year. Depending on spec, the 158hp engine comes with a choice of manual or automatic transmission, and two- or four-wheel drive

Range prices start at £23,535 for a 140hp Visia, and rise to between £26,135 and £28,455 for Acenta Premium spec.

N-Connecta cars cost between £28,305 and £32,335, Tekna grade is priced between £30,945 and £35,175, and range-topping Tekna+ spec costs between £34,175 and £37,835.

Equipment with the entry-level Visia grade includes front and rear LED lights and intelligent cruise control, while Acenta Premium spec adds features including Apple Carplay, a reversing camera, and automatic air conditioning.

N-Connecta cars gain features including a 12.3in digital cockpit display and a 360-degree camera system, while additional kit with Tekna cars includes the ProPilot assisted driving system, a head-up display, and a hands-free tailgate.

Further features with Tekna+ cars include part leather seats with front seat massage function, a Bose sound system, and 20in alloy wheels.

The new Qashqai range is available to order now, with the first deliveries scheduled for early summer.
