Facelifted Mercedes-Benz CLS revealed

Date: 07 April 2021   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Mercedes-Benz is introducing a facelifted version of its CLS executive coupe.

Exterior design changes include a new front grille and bumper design - with the exact appearance depending on the equipment grade chosen - while inside there are new leather and wood trim combinations and a redesigned multifunction steering wheel.

In addition, a new mild hybrid diesel engine recently joined the range, producing 265hp and offering combined CO2 emissions of 172-153g/km on the WLTP cycle. It sits alongside 194hp and 330hp diesel, 299hp petrol, and 367hp and 435hp petrol mild hybrid options in the line-up.

Mercedes says the latest facelift follows updates carried out last summer to the CLS's driving assistance and infotainment systems.

Prices for the new CLS are yet to be announced.
