The start point for the best source of fleet information

Come and join us at the Business Car Awards

Date: 18 August 2021

After more than a year of restrictions, keeping us working at home, holding virtual meetings and events, and hiding us behind masks at a two-metre distance, we are delighted to invite our readers to join us for a physical Business Car Awards ceremony in October.

Entries have closed and the judging process is now under way as we select the best cars, manufacturers, suppliers and fleet managers in the UK.

Our in-person award ceremony dinner will take place in London on 19 October and will be live-streamed for a hybrid experience for those audience members unable to attend on the day.

It will be the first physical awards and dinner for the fleet sector since the relaxation of Covid-19 restrictions in the summer, and the first such opportunity to network with colleagues and peers in person at a black tie dinner.

The Business Car Awards have recognised excellence in the automotive fleet sector for more than a decade. They have identified the best cars that fleets should be running, highlighted innovation and fleet expertise among suppliers, as well as rewarding excellence among fleet operators.

The decisions are made after careful analysis by experienced judging panels comprising independent experts in the automotive and fleet arenas, ensuring entrants are evaluated by professionals with many decades of knowledge and insight between them.

Finalists will be announced in September, as we reveal the cars, manufacturers, suppliers and fleets that have made the shortlists, while the winners will be revealed live at the event.

Although Covid-19 restrictions are at their lowest state for almost a year, we will continue to make constant risk assessments on the status of the pandemic and its effects on events.

The final decision is to be made on the scope of the physical elements eight weeks prior to the event date, and attendee number capacity will also be shared with partners at that stage.

Delegates invited to the physical event can engage with our partners on-site, while live streaming of the physical elements will be shared to an additional global virtual audience.

Professional event moderators will connect our physical and virtual audiences effectively.

All delegates in-person will be required to comply with government event guidelines, and announcements on ticket sales will be made soon.
