Seat Tarraco gets new range-topping petrol engine

Seat has added a new range-topping petrol engine to its Tarraco SUV range.

The 2.0-litre, 245hp petrol engine comes with seven-speed DSG automatic transmission and four-wheel drive.

With its high power output, it falls into the top 37% BIK company car tax band, with WLTP CO2 emissions of 195-208g/km.

Official combined fuel economy is 30.7-32.8mpg.

The new engine is available with the FR, FR Sport, Xcellence, and Xcellence Lux equipment grades, with prices starting from £39,400.

Features of FR spec include 19in alloy wheels, a roof spoiler, sports bumpers, tiredness recognition software and keyless entry, while further equipment with FR Sport includes 20in alloys, heated washer nozzles, and heated front and rear seats.

Xcellence spec comes with 19in alloys, bright roof rails, alcantara sport seats, park assist, and adaptive cruise control with a speed limiter, while Xcellence Lux cars get 20in alloys, exit assist, roll over assist, and a 360-degree camera.
