BP Pulse to install over 100 EV chargers in Warwickshire

EV charging firm BP Pulse is to install 118 new 7.4kW chargers in Warwickshire, having been awarded a £584,000 contract by the county council.
The chargers will be installed across North Warwickshire, Nuneaton and Bedworth, Stratford-on-Avon and Warwick, and will be accessible on either a pay-as-you-go or membership basis.
The rollout programme follows a successful bid to the On-street Residential Chargepoint Scheme (ORCS), run by the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles, which will fund up to 75% of the cost, with match funding provided by BP Pulse - formerly BP Chargemaster - to cover the remaining cost.
ORCS is designed to provide charging infrastructure for residents who do not have off-street parking, and are therefore unable to install home chargers.
The new chargers are expected to be installed in council-owned residential car parks and on-street locations by March.
