New engine and spec updates for Seat Leon

Date: 02 July 2021   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Seat has announced minor revisions to its Leon lower-medium car range.

Among the changes is the introduction of a 2.0-litre, 190hp engine, paired with DSG automatic transmission, which is now available with the FR, FR Sport, Xcellence, and Xcellence Lux equipment grades.

Other changes include a revised spec for the SE Dynamic equipment grade, which has gained three-zone climate control, two rear USB type C sockets, and a centre armrest.

All Leon e-Hybrid models now come with mode 3 charging cables as standard, and Leons with manual transmission now feature vegan leather gear shift knob coverings.

A new Asphalt Blue exterior paint option has also been introduced.

Range prices now start at £20,405 for an SE hatchback with a 110hp petrol engine (or £21,555 for an estate), and rise to £36,170 for an Xcellence Lux 204hp e-Hybrid (estate £37,580).
