Orders open for new Skoda Enyaq iV Sportline

Date: 15 March 2021   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Skoda has expanded its new Enyaq iV EV range, with orders opening for the Sportline equipment grade.

The Sportline, which joins 60 Nav and 80 models in the launch line-up, features the same powertrain as the latter, pairing a 204hp motor with an 82kWh battery, although the Sportline's driving range on the WLTP cycle is six miles lower, at 327 miles.

Skoda says the Sportline is equipped with a sportier chassis set-up, with the car's ride height lowered by 15mm at the front and 10mm at the rear. Selectable drive modes and progressive steering are also standard, while a dynamic chassis control system is an option.

The model's exterior design also gets a sporty makeover, with the front grille, window frames, roof rails, and rear bumper diffuser all finished in black, while the model also gets prominent side skirts, 20in alloy wheels, and matrix LED headlights.

Inside, there's predominantly black upholstery and roof lining, black sports seats with integrated headrests, a leather sports steering wheel, and aluminium-look pedal covers.

The Enyaq iV Sportline is priced from £39,900, including the UK Government's £3,000 plug-in car grant. The first deliveries are expected this summer.
