A new rental product aimed at SME fleets has been launched by telematics firm Airmax Remote.
The new Airmax Go offering is said to deliver all the benefits of the company's regular service within a monthly rental payment, including all hardware and installation costs.
According to Airmax Remote, the new service is aimed at smaller businesses that may have limited working capital to support the outlay for a long-term telematics solution.
Airmax Go extends to the firm's MaxCam onboard camera solution, with the monthly fee also including the integrated or standalone connected camera system which provides event-triggered video monitoring.
Airmax Remote said the launch was part of its wider 'direct and corporate' sales channel, which aims to provide flexible and scalable solution to businesses regardless of their requirements, which can include Google mapping, remote monitoring of customer fleets, driver behaviour tracking, compliance, and digitisations.
Managing director Richard Perham said: "For the majority of SMEs the past twelve months have been extremely challenging. Renting will make more sense for companies that need the most up-to-date software, or which don't currently have the budget required to purchase a system outright.
"As a privately owned, independent company, we recognise the difficulties in maintaining business continuity and reducing unnecessary risk and that's why we have launched Airmax Go.
"For small businesses, Airmax Go delivers all the benefits of our complete telematics offering, but tailored for small business budgets."
