Updated Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace revealed

Date: 13 May 2021   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Volkswagen has unveiled a revised version of its Tiguan Allspace SUV.

The changes follow the introduction of the updated, shorter-wheelbase Tiguan last year.

The new-look Tiguan Allspace, which optionally comes with seven seats, features exterior styling changes including a new-look radiator grille and light signature, with IQ Light LED headlights also now available.

The updated model gains new-generation MIB3 infotainment, with an integrated eSIM facilitating online We Connect services, and wireless connectivity for Apple Carplay and Android Auto.

The interior also features a new digitised air conditioning control module in the centre console, with touch panels and sliders replacing rotary knobs and buttons.

Also newly available with the Tiguan Allspace is the IQ Drive Travel Assist system, which helps with steering, braking, and acceleration via the adaptive cruise control and lane assist systems.

Three petrol and two diesel engines are available, and in Germany the range will consist of Life, Elegance and R-Line equipment grades. UK specs and prices are yet to be announced.
