Volkswagen has unveiled an updated version of its T-Roc SUV.

The facelifted model will come with LED headlights and darkened rear lights as standard, with other available features including VW's IQ Light system with matrix LED headlights and an illuminated radiator grille strip, and new-look tail lights with dynamic indicators.

Also available will be new exterior paint colours and 17in and 19in alloy wheel designs.

Inside, a new dashboard arrangement features a tablet-style infotainment display measuring either 8in or 9.2in, and a digital instrument cluster as standard, measuring up to 10.25in with the Digital Cockpit Pro system. A redesigned multifunction steering wheel also features.

Also newly added to the range is the IQ Drive travel assist and predictive cruise control system, enabling assisted steering, braking and acceleration, using information from the car's front-mounted camera as well as GPS and map data to adjust the car's speed based on speed limits and road layouts.

Available engines will be 110hp, 150hp, and 190hp petrols, and 115hp and 150hp diesels.

Life, Style, and R-Line equipment grades will be available.

UK prices are yet to be announced.
