New Citroen e-Berlingo Electric goes on sale

Date: 04 November 2021   |   Author: Sean Keywood

The electric version of Citroen's Berlingo MPV is now available from UK showrooms.

The e-Berlingo Electric features a 136hp electric motor and a 50kWh battery, allowing a range of up to 174 miles on the official WLTP cycle.

A 7.4kW on-board charger is standard, allowing a full recharge in seven-and-a-half hours, and an 11kW charger is optional, which reduces the charge time to four hours and 45 minutes with a compatible wallbox.

Alternatively, the battery can be charged at up to 100kW via public rapid charging, allowing an 80% recharge in 30 minutes.

The e-Berlingo electric is available in two vehicle lengths, medium and XL, offering five and seven seats respectively. Medium models are available in a choice of Feel and Flair XTR equipment grades, while XL models are available with the Feel grade only.

Standard equipment with Feel includes an 8in touchscreen, Android Auto and Apple Carplay connectivity, active lane keep assist, autonomous emergency braking, cruise control and speed limiter, speed limit recognition and recommendation, driver attention alert, and rear parking sensors.

Extra equipment with Flair XTR spec includes 17in alloy wheels, black roof bars and door mirrors, orange fog light surrounds, a 10in digital instrument cluster, a head-up display, sat-nav with live traffic updates, and a 180-degree reversing camera.

Prices including the UK Government's Plug-in Car Grant start at £29,575 for a medium Feel, and rise to £31,575 for an XL Feel and £32,280 for a medium Flair XTR.
