Specs and prices announced for updated MG ZS EV

MG has confirmed UK specs and prices for the facelifted version of its ZS EV.
As previously announced, the major update is a new, 72kWh battery, allowing a driving range of up to 273 miles on the WLTP combined cycle, compared with 163 miles with the previous version.
The facelifted model also features revised front and rear styling, and upgraded infotainment.
Three equipment grades are on offer - SE, Trophy, and Trophy Connect.
Standard equipment with the entry-level SE grade includes automatic air conditioning, bi-function LED headlights, adaptive cruise control, keyless entry and start, vehicle-to-load charging, a 360-degree camera, a 10.1in touchscreen, sat-nav, the iSMART mobile app, multiple USB charging points, autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, traffic jam assist, intelligent speed limit assist, and intelligent high beam assist.
Further equipment with Trophy spec includes a panoramic roof, leather-style seats, roof rails, heated front seats, electric driver's seat adjustment, rain-sensing wipers, wireless phone charging, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind spot detection with lane change assist.
Range-topping Trophy Connect spec adds live iSMART services, such as weather and traffic information and Amazon Prime.
The updated ZS EV goes on sale later this month. Prices, including the UK Government's Plug-in Car Grant, start at £28,495 for the SE grade, and rise to £30,995 for Trophy and £31,495 for Trophy Connect.
