Date: 29 September 2021   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Citroen has made its E-Spacetourer MPV available as a larger XL model.

Having launched with the smaller M bodystyle only, the E-Spacetourer range now also gains the XL variant already available with ICE versions of the model.

The XL model is 5,309mm long, compared with 4,959mm for the M variant, and increases load capacity from 2,550 litres to 3,100 litres.

Business Edition and Flair equipment grades available, with seating for up to nine or eight people respectively.

Standard equipment with Business Edition spec includes air conditioning, cruise control, Apple Carplay, Android Auto, a 7in touchscreen, and driver attention alert.

Further equipment with Flair spec includes 17in alloy wheels, leather seats, sat-nav, a head-up display, and a blind-spot monitoring system.

All versions of the E-Spacetourer come with a 136hp electric motor, and a 50kWh battery allowing a range of up to 143 miles on a single charge.

The E-Spacetourer XL is priced at £32,495 for Business Edition spec, including the UK Government's plug-in car grant, and £48,335 for Flair spec, which is not grant-eligible.
