Date: 16 September 2021   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Mobilize Power Solutions UK has appointed Carl Cook to the role of UK e-mobiiity lead - vehicle and infrastructure.

Mobilize - Renault Group's charging infrastructure business - said Cook would be responsible for developing business across all types of businesses and organisations, as well as managing the whole life cycle of nationwide projects.

Cook, said to have more than 27 years of experience working within the charging infrastructure and sustainable energy sectors, was previously business development director at Actavo, and before that senior sales manager at ChargePoint.

He said: "My decision to join Mobilize Power Solutions is because I believe it is able to truly provide the much-needed link between electric vehicles and infrastructure.

"As part of Renault Group, it already has over 10 years' experience of the EV market and is able to benefit from a network of knowledge, technology and partners that gives clients robust charging solutions that are suitable for all makes and models of vehicles - now and in the future."

Mobilize Power Solutions managing director Mark Dickens said: "Carl will be an asset to the business with both his knowledge of charging technology and his familiarity of our customers' needs.

"We offer charging solutions that are suitable for all types of electric vehicle users and with the UK Government pushing for the nation to go electric by 2030 we are facing a surge in implementing charging infrastructures.

"With Carl joining us at this critical time we are able to further support this increase in demand."
