Date: 10 September 2021   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Volkswagen has announced UK specs and prices for its facelifted Polo supermini, which is available to order now.

Three petrol engine options are available at launch, producing 80hp, 95hp and 110hp, and there's a choice of five-speed manual or seven-speed DSG automatic transmission.

Official WLTP fuel economy and CO2 emissions figures are 51.4mpg and 124g/km for the 80hp engine, from 54.3mpg and 118g/km for the 95hp engine, and 50.4mpg and 128g/km for the 110hp engine.

The regular range consists of three equipment grades - Life, Style, and R-Line - with a GTI hot hatch to follow at a later date.

Standard equipment with Life spec includes LED headlights, adaptive cruise control, an 8in Digital Cockpit display, an 8in infotainment touchscreen, four USB sockets, and with the 95hp engine option VW's semi-autonomous Travel Assist system.

Stepping up to Style grade adds features including IQ Light LED matrix headlights, front and rear parking sensors, 16in alloy wheels, two-one climate control

The range-topping R-Line grade comes with further features including sports-look bumpers, a quad exhaust set-up, black roof lining, stainless steel pedals, and sports comfort seats.

Range prices start at £17,885 for an 80hp Life, and rise as high as £23,355 for a 110hp R-Line.
