Audi to launch new EV charging service

Date: 22 December 2022   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Audi is introducing a new charging service, available to drivers of all its full EV and plug-in hybrid vehicles.

The new service will launch on 1 January, replacing the previously-available E-Tron charging service.

The new service, for which Audi is collaborating with Volkswagen Group Charging and its Elli brand, will initially cover 27 countries, including the UK, and provide access to chargers from more than 800 different operators across Europe.

Three different tariffs will be available, and the base tariff will be free with new Audi EVs for the first year.

The location of compatible chargers will be integrated with vehicles' sat-nav systems.
