Hiyacar announces Norfolk NHS pool car service

Hiyacar has announced its first pool car partnership with a public body.
The deal with Norfolk Community Health & Care (NCHC) NHS Trust will see community nurses and other members of staff using Hiyacar's app-based booking platform, enabling them to reserve pooled vehicles at various sites around the region, 24/7.
Drivers can access the vehicles using Hiyacar's QuickStart keyless technology via smartphone or through NFC cards.
The vehicles are being supplied by Knowles Fleet.
NCHC transport manager Samuel Dewhurst said: "We looked across the market to find a customer focused solution that provided efficiencies for our pool car fleet.
"We needed a tailored solution built by a supplier that could understand the importance and nuances of the work our community nurses and staff do. Hiyacar fit that bill."
