New Hyundai Kona unveiled

Date: 20 December 2022   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Hyundai has revealed the new, second-generation version of its Kona SUV.

As with the outgoing model, it will be available with a choice of ICE, hybrid, and fully electric powertrains, although details of these are yet to be announced.

Compared with the outgoing car, the new Kona is 150mm longer and 25mm wider, with a 60mm longer wheelbase, with the aim of maximising interior space.

According to Hyundai, the model's exterior design was initially drawn up for the electric version, then adapted for the other variants.

Full spec details are yet to be confirmed, but available features will include dual 12.3in interior screens.

Hyundai says more details of the new Kona will be announced in the coming months.
