New Citroen C5 X specs and prices announced

Date: 17 January 2022   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Citroen has announced full UK sale details for its new C5 X crossover, which is available to order now.

Described by Citroen as the new flagship model in its range, the C5 X comes with a choice of 130hp or 180hp petrol engines, or a 225hp plug-in hybrid powertrain - the latter offering a battery-only range of up to 34 miles.

There's a choice of three equipment grades - Sense Plus, Shine, and Shine Plus.

Standard equipment with the entry-level Sense Plus grade includes 19in alloy wheels, LED headlights, part leather-effect Advanced Comfort seats, a 10in touchscreen with sat-nav, wireless smartphone connectivity, front and rear parking sensors, and a reversing camera.

Stepping up to the Shine grade adds equipment including a heated steering wheel, LED interior lighting, a 12in touchscreen, an extended head-up display, wireless smartphone charging, and radar-controlled autonomous emergency braking.

The range-topping Shine Plus grade adds further equipment including electrically operated and heated front seats, acoustically insulated windows, an electric tailgate, extended bling-spot detection, and a 360-degree camera.

Prices for the C5 X start at £26,490 for a 130hp petrol Sense Plus, and rise as high as £38,680 for a plug-in hybrid Shine Plus.

The first deliveries are expected in late Spring.
