Date: 19 July 2022   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Renault has announced an updated range line-up for its Arkana SUV-coupe, along with a new equipment grade option for its Clio supermini and Captur small SUV.

The Arkana range now consists of Evolution, Techno, R.S. Line, and E-Tech Engineered grades.

Standard equipment with Evolution spec, which replaces the previous entry-level Iconic grade, includes 17in alloy wheels, automatic full LED headlights and LED tail lights, tinted rear windows and tailgate, a 7in driver display, a 7in infotainment touchscreen with Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, automatic wipers, automatic air conditioning, rear parking sensors, a reversing camera, autonomous emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning with lane keep assist, hill start assist, and cruise control with speed limiter.

Mid-range Techno spec, which replaces the previous S Edition grade, includes wireless smartphone charging, a 19in driver display, a 9.3in touchscreen with sat-nav, 18in alloy wheels, selectable drive modes, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, automatic high/low beam, blind spot warning, and rear cross traffic alert.

The R.S. Line grade gains sporty design features inside and out, along with heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and hands-free parking.

The E-Tech Engineered grade, exclusive to the full-hybrid version of the Arkana, comes with a range of specific E-Tech styling and upholstery features, along with adaptive cruise control.

Prices for the updated Arkana range start at £26,695 for the Evolution grade with a 140hp petrol mild hybrid engine, and rise as high as £32,695 for the E-Tech Engineered.

It is the E-Tech Engineered grade that has also been added to the Clio and Captur ranges, featuring a similar package of interior and exterior styling elements as with the Arkana E-Tech Engineered, with 17in alloy wheels with the Clio, and 18in alloys with the Captur.

Prices with the spec are £23,795 for a Clio hybrid, £28,395 for a Captur hybrid, and £33,295 for a Captur plug-in hybrid.
