Two new appointments have been made to leasing company Arval UK's executive team.
Corrine Barton has been named as director of global operations, while Joel Lund becomes commercial director.
Barton joined Arval in 1995, holding a variety of customer-facing positions before her first senior leadership roles as head of sales and partnerships, and chair of the shadow executive team.
In her most recent role, as head of network, she is said to have been pivotal in the company's response to the Covid-19 pandemic, ensuring essential fleets remained mobile during lockdown while measurably improving customer service standards.
As director of global operations, she will be responsible for driver and retail customer services, and for supply-chain networks including collections and fleet services.
Lund joined Arval UK in 2008 as head of corporate sales, and in the last three years as global operations director he is said to have helped secure group investment to support UK customers, as well as set benchmarks for use on an international basis.
In his new role - replacing former commercial director Paul Hyne, who has left the business - Lund will take on overall responsibility for all Arval UK's commercial activities, including corporate, retail, and partner sales channels.
Arval UK managing director Lakshmi Moorthy said: "Both Corrine and Joel are extremely experienced and capable leaders with outstanding track records of achievement within Arval.
"Both have a wealth of knowledge about customer needs and aspirations, coupled with an in-depth understanding of the fleet and mobility sectors. We are sure they will excel within their new roles."
