Volkswagen has opened orders for the newly-updated version of its T-Roc SUV.

Three equipment grades are available - Life, Style, and R-Line.

Standard equipment with the Life grade includes LED headlights, 16in alloy wheels, black roof rails, interior ambient lighting, an 8in Digital Cockpit display, wireless App Connect through an 8in infotainment screen, lane assist, adaptive cruise control, and autonomous emergency braking.

Further equipment with the Style grade includes a larger Digital Cockpit Pro display, sat-nav, sports comfort seats, rear privacy glass, enhanced LED headlights, and 17in alloy wheels.

Extra features with the R-Line grade include sports suspension, silver roof rails, a black interior roof lining, progressive steering, selectable drive modes, and stainless steel pedals.

There's a choice of five engines - 110hp, 150hp, and 190hp petrols, and 115hp and 150hp diesels. The best WLTP fuel economy and CO2 emissions figures are to be had with the 115hp diesel, at 60.1mpg and 122g/km respectively.

Range prices start at £25,000 for a 110hp petrol Life, and rise as high as £36,020 for a 150hp diesel R-Line with all-wheel drive.
