Paul Hollick named as new Lightfoot managing director

Driver coaching firm Lightfoot has announced the appointment of Paul Hollick as managing director.
Hollick, who is also chairman of the Association of Fleet Professionals, was previously managing director of TMC.
He has joined Lightfoot, which offers in-cab live driver coaching with a dashboard-mounted device, backed up by an app-based rewards programme, following investment in the company last year by Volpi Capital.
Hollick said: "Volpi Capital's investment in Lightfoot is a game changer. It provides the business with a level of investment that enables us to take our market-leading driver engagement technology to new heights.

Hollick said that he believed Lightfoot coaching helped prepare drivers for electric vehicles, due to its encouragement of less aggressive driving styles, and also that it had much to offer fleets in the context of current high fuel prices.
He said: "Right now, fleets are feeling the intense pressure of rapid fuel price rises at the pump due to global events. Squeezing every mile out of every vehicle has never been more important, and that's exactly what our technology enables.
