Bigger battery for Polestar 2

New upgrades have been announced for the Polestar 2 EV, including a bigger battery for the single-motor version of the model.

The new 69kWh battery, up from 64kWh previously, allows a range on a single charge of up to 294 miles on the official WLTP cycle.

The model also gains an increased motor output, to 231hp, and faster charging capability of up to 130kW with a DC charger.

Other new additions which apply to the entire Polestar 2 range include new exterior colour options and alloy wheel designs, revised optional leather upholstery, and a removeable sunshade for the panoramic glass roof.

Also new are upgraded software for the optional Performance Pack, an upgraded optional heat pump, and an upgraded optional cabin air filter and particulate matter sensor.
