BVRLA conference to discuss 2023 outlook

Date: 14 November 2022   |   Author: Sean Keywood

The BVRLA has announced the return of its Industry Outlook Conference, which will take place next month.

The rental and leasing industry body says the event will feature an economic outlook for 2023, presented by Sunday Times economics editor David Smith, before delegates hear about how a changing policy and regulatory landscape will impact their businesses.

The event will also see the introduction of a Fleet Technology Spotlight, made up of three expert panels exploring how technology will help companies tackle the challenges of 2023. Topics to be covered in the Spotlight sessions include Customer Service and Digitisation, Smart Charging and Energy Management, and Compliance Technology.

The conference will also see the BVRLA launch its latest Industry Outlook Report, to be discussed by representatives from Arnold Clark, Enterprise, Octopus Electric Vehicles, ProHire, the LCV Group, United Rental Group, and Zenith.

The event will be at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon on 7 December, with tickets available via the BVRLA's website.

BVRLA chief executive Gerry Keaney said: "After years of seeing a single issue dominate so much of our thinking, 2023 will see us face challenges on multiple fronts.

"The cost-of-living crisis, ongoing supply concerns and the threat of further economic turbulence, will all combine to present a testing time.

"BVRLA members are not alone. Through this Conference we are bringing members of all sizes and business types together. Backed by the insights of our Industry Outlook Report, we will explore what 2023 has in store and discuss how our sector can thrive."
